What is Artemisinin Powder?
Artemisinin powder is a sesquiterpene lactone compound with a peroxide group extracted from the plant Artemisia annua. It is an antimalarial drug discovered by Chinese scientist Tu Youyou and her team in the 1970s. Anti-malaria: The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends artemisinin combination therapy (ACT) as the first-line treatment for malaria.
Anti-cancer: Induces tumor cell apoptosis and inhibits angiogenesis (such as breast cancer and liver cancer).
